We are now a hub providing specialist knowledge and regular training in end-of-life care to a group of over 60 district nurses around Kent. The nurses, who are End of Life Champions in their own communities, can set the agenda for the training they receive. This will then take place via web link once a month for a year.
After the first year, we hope to extend the reach of our training to include GPs and care homes.
Project Echo is just one of the innovative ways we share our expertise about end-of-life care. We also provide workshops and bespoke training to nurses and healthcare professionals.
